Rock Your Indie Heart : ウィキペディア英語版 | Rock Your Indie Heart
''Rock Your Indie Heart'' was a radio show which aired on WHCL from 1999 to 2003. The influential program provided an outlet for emerging artists via over-the-air play and in-studio performances. It is believed the program obtained its name from a Pavement concert poster. In 2003 the program spawned a music festival, the Rock Your Indie Heart! Music Festival, which was said to be "the biggest thing to happen to this quaint, scenic town () since the invention of the cow.〔(Syracuse New Times Net (Page 6) )〕" The festival was host to one of The Dismemberment Plan's final performances having announced their break-up one month earlier and co-headliner Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. ==References==
